At a glance
If program times look wrong or the guide is off by an hour, fix your Android time zone and (if available) adjust the app’s EPG offset.

Symptoms this solves

  • The on‑screen clock is wrong

  • Guide (EPG) shows programs at the wrong time

  • DVR/reminders fire too early/late

Step‑by‑step (System time)

  1. Open Settings › System › Date & time.

  2. Turn Use network‑provided time ON.

  3. Set Time zone to your local region (e.g., Eastern Time).

  4. Reboot the box (hold the power button, select Restart).

Step‑by‑step (Inside streaming app)

  1. Open your live TV app (e.g., Heat Live).

  2. Go to Settings › Guide/EPG.

  3. Make sure Region/Country matches your location.

  4. If available, adjust EPG offset to 0. Only change this if your guide is consistently off (e.g., set +1 hour or −1 hour), then recheck the grid.

Note: Some apps cache guide data. After changing time/region, give it a few minutes or use Refresh/Reload EPG if present.

Verify it worked

  • The system clock in the top‑right is correct.

  • Programs in the guide line up with real‑world times.

If this didn’t work

  • Toggle network time OFF → set the correct time manually → toggle network time back ON.

  • Clear the app cache: Settings › Apps › [Your app] › Storage & cache › Clear cache.

  • Force stop the app and restart the device.
